1 The steps of her holy resting-place represent Local Spiritual Assemblies, not individual believers. The columns, that is the pillars, are like the National Spiritual Assemblies, while the dome, which is raised following the placing of the columns, symbolizes the Universal House of Justice which, in accordance with the Master’s Will and Testament must be elected by the secondary Houses of Justice, that is, the National Spiritual Assemblies of East and West.
