Letter of 4 June 1929

To Siegfried Schopflocher1

Dear Fred:
Shoghi Effendi wishes me to thank you for your letter dated May 19th as well as for the trouble you have undertaken to obtain for him the papers. The colour seems to be the most fitting and he hopes to receive them in due time. In case he leaves for his summer vacation he will not be here when they arrive but proper care will be taken of them, you may rest assured.
Shoghi Effendi as well as the others were very glad to hear of your election as member of the National Spiritual Assembly. The spirit of co-operation you have been showing and the wonderful sacrifices you have been making are fully appreciated by the friends and your election is only a token of that.
We all hope and pray that you may succeed in your work, both materially and spiritually, for as you have shown the object of both is the advancement of the interests of the Cause.

In close may I assure you of Shoghi Effendi’s prayers and extend to you his loving greetings.
