Letter of 30 April 1934
30 April 1934
To an individual believer
Dear Bahá’í Friend,
The Guardian wishes me to acknowledge on his behalf the receipt of your letter dated April 5th with enclosure, and to convey to you his appreciation of your efforts for the spread of the Message. He is gratified to learn of your contact with the ... family, and particularly with that gentleman whom you found to be somewhat receptive to the Teachings. Your close association with him, and with the other members of his family, who seem to have been so severely afflicted by some sad events, will, it is hoped, win them to the Cause and open before them a new field of constructive activity. His prayers on your behalf and on behalf of them all will be specially offered to Bahá’u’lláh that through His grace and mercy you may be strengthened and illumined, and be given the necessary inspiration to serve His Cause.
With sincere greetings and best wishes,
Yours in His Service,
[From the Guardian:]
With the assurance of my prayers for your welfare, your success and spiritual advancement,
Your true brother,
