Letter of 11 August 1937
11 August 1937
To an individual believer
Dear Bahá’í Brother,
The Guardian wishes me to thank you for your welcome letter dated June 9th informing him of your plan to visit Europe in the next fall and requesting his permission to also visit Haifa. He would be indeed delighted to meet you in the Holy Land, and cherishes the hope that your pilgrimage to the Holy Shrines will fill you with renewed energy and a stronger determination than ever to serve and promote the interests of the Faith in your country.
As regards Mrs. ... ; the Guardian thinks it preferable that she should stay in Canada and concentrate heart and soul on the promotion of the teaching work there.
Assuring you both of his keenest appreciation of your services in Montreal, and reciprocating your very warm greetings,
Yours in the Cause,
[From the Guardian:]
May the spirit of this great and invincible Faith enable you and your dear wife to surmount every obstacle and to expand continuously the area of your activities and to deepen the beneficent influence which you exert upon the souls of those whom you wish to attract to this glorious Revelation.
Your true and grateful brother,
