15 April 1942

To an individual believer

Dear Bahá’í Brother:
Your letter of December 14th has just arrived, and the Guardian has instructed me to answer you on his behalf.
He was most happy to hear of how enthusiastically you are serving the Faith in Canada, and the report of the various conferences that have been held was most encouraging to him.
The Faith, at last, seems to be really becoming more widely known and embraced in the Dominion, and the Guardian hopes that, in spite of the difficulties that face you all, the Canadian friends will succeed in fulfilling in its entirety the teaching part of the Seven Year Plan in their Provinces. This is of the utmost importance, and every Canadian believer should make it the very centre of his conscious activities, and determine to see that nothing prevents him from ensuring that the Canadian share of glory, in the fulfilment of the Plan by the first centenary of the Faith, is not lost.
The Guardian was also very pleased to hear that your wife and sister have both recovered health and can continue their devoted services to the Cause.
He received many flattering reports of the last year’s Ontario Summer session, and he will certainly pray that the 1942 one will be even more successful.
He will also continue to pray for you and your dear family, as well as for the believer whom you mention, Mrs. ..., that God may strengthen you to render great services to His Faith during the coming days.
