Letter of 22 June 1943

22 June 1943

To an individual believer

Dear Bahá’í Sister:
Your letter dated March 10th has been received, also the photograph of your two girls which you enclosed, and the Guardian has instructed me to answer you on his behalf. He hopes the way will open for you to find and teach some receptive souls, in your neighbourhood, this blessed message. As you say, all are not yet ready for it, and though they need it their eyes are not yet open.
The beloved Guardian is very busy these days with all his worldwide correspondence and plans for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of our Faith, which will take place in May 1944.
If you can manage to attend the Bahá’í Convention in Wilmette in the Temple next May it would be a wonderful experience for you and one that would bring you great joy indeed.
The Guardian assures you he will continue to pray for the spiritual development and enlightenment of your children and for your own work in the Cause.
